I had a great day retreat studying at Witherden’s Hall. It is a beautiful country setting with a peaceful atmosphere. The day retreat is perfect for people looking for inspiration or a time to focus away from distractions. The workspace is bright and spacious, the lounge is calm and relaxing, and the mini-spa was very refreshing. Claire was a welcoming and helpful host. Will definitely be back!

My wife and I have just spent three months staying in The Retreat at Witherdens Hall whilst we were house hunting. The cottage had everything we needed to make us comfortable, and it was the perfect base to come back to after a stressful day's travelling to look at properties. The retreat has the best of both worlds : it is on the edge of Wingham village, which is within striking distance of all the facilities that Canterbury and Deal have to offer, and yet it is situated down a narrow lane amidst the rolling wheat fields, clumps of woodland, and big blue skies of the glorious Kent countryside. It was clear from the start that the primary purpose of the team at Witherdens was to ensure that we had a delightful and memorable stay, and in fulfilling this goal, nothing was too much trouble for them. We certainly hope to be back again one day, and if you want to refresh your batteries, whether it is just for a few days or for a longer spell, then this is the place for you !  Couple house-hunting, July 2022

My amazing fulfilled wholesome experience at Witherdens Hall began before I even got to the place.

I was very pleased and reassured with my initial communications with Witherdens Hall about booking and planning my retreat.

Claire handled my booking at Witherdens Hall. She went the extra mile to support me with booking and planning my retreat. She was very kind,  generous with her guidance and was very professional.

When I got to Witherdens Hall, I was moved by the  serene energy of the place. My soul felt at home and I could hear myself clearly.

I had a beautiful positive experience with another member of staff called Marilyn. She was very kind, caring and generous with her time as she showed me Witherdens Hall retreat facilities and gave me some wholesome very organic yummy spinach.

I went to Witherdens Hall for a retreat, as it was my birthday. I had no idea it was going to be such a healing experience. My three nights at Witherdens Hall gave me  an awakened, deeply soul healing experience that I will cherish for the rest of my life. The tranquil and peaceful environment at Witherdens Hall allowed me to be more present with myself and I felt very renewed and recharged to face all the storms that may come my way.

I  highly recommend Witherdens Hall Retreat to everyone to enable them to have a magical, heavenly, healing experience.

“I was looking for a getaway from the city life and from busy working schedules and I am so glad I found Witherdens Hall. I stayed there for a full week and it was absolutely lovely. The second I arrived and stepped into the Suite, I felt at home. You have all the facilities you'd need for self-catered accommodation, the place was very clean and welcoming, there are plenty books to read on a lazy afternoon as well! The surroundings of Wingham are beautiful and so worth exploring, not to mention all the lovely animals one can meet in the area! I absolutely had the most amazing and relaxing stay at Witherdens Hall, I wake up these past days thinking that maybe I am somehow still there, as it was so lovely. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to meet, but I am sure, I will be visiting in the future and so hopefully can say proper hello then 

The place is absolutely amazing, and I will recommend to anyone who is looking for a similar experience. I even ordered some books that were in the Suite, because I started reading them and didn’t get to finish. So thank you for the inspiration!  I also recommend to guide your guests to do an experience at Wingham Wilderness Park – I did a tiger experience there and it was so so great! They have plenty more, to fit all ages and price levels, so just a little tip, what to suggest to future guests

“We have just returned from our third visit (four nights) at Witherdens Hall and have booked to go again. It’s a very relaxed place with everything we need to unwind. Because of the current situation, we took our own breakfast and dinner and ate lunch out. The bed is comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped with fridge, freezer, dishwasher and oven/microwave. The lounge area is comfortable too.
Wingham is a great location for that part of Kent as you can go to Folkestone, Deal, Sandwich, Margate, Broadstairs, Whitstable and Canterbury all very easily. Every day there are lovely choices of these very different seaside towns. Plus it's in the country so there are lots of country walks - and two farm shops nearby if your supplies need topping up.
